Many people think that plastic surgeons are the doctors that deal with cosmetic procedures like facial surgeries, Botox treatment, nose jobs, liposuctions, and related stuff. Well, this is an important aspect of a plastic surgeon’s career,it is not completely that. These doctors also frequently correct congenital birth defects, such as cleft palates, and perform restorative surgeries. To become a plastic surgeon you have to require a medical degree and at least six years of residency training. If you want to practice a particular field like Botox treatment or gender reassignment then you might also have to obtain a fellowship in that area after they finish residency and before they start their careers. Plastic surgeons also have to be creatively vigilant and skillful as this profession requires precision. Creative hobbies like drawing or 3D printing are important aspects of this field.
