posted on: August 20, 2022

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. This year around 18,00,00 students appeared for the NEET exam, the result of which is yet to be announced. Before the result, the answer key will be released by NTA which is very likely to be out anytime soon. Through answer keys, students will be able to calculate their marks even before the results and will get an idea of what rank they will get. After the announcement of the results, students have to choose a medical College according to their ranks and marks. This is done through counseling That is conducted on two levels. The first level is all India quota counseling which accounts for 15% and the rest 85% is stated quota counseling. The counseling of all India quotas is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. Students from Jammu and Kashmir must note that they are not eligible to apply for all India quota counseling and can apply in state quota counseling. The state quota counseling is conducted by the respective state authorities. Through the NEET exam, students can get into medical, dental, AYUSH, and BSc nursing courses.
