Japan is a country that is famous for making the utmost utilization of its human resources and building a strong economy out of nothing. During the Covid pandemic, the schools and educational institutes of Japan incurred huge losses with almost 25% of the language schools claiming to be running out of business. The post-Covid restrictions in Japan were very strict which denied the entry of international students in Japan for a really long period of time even when a lot of other countries had already opened their entry gates for international students. But since March 2022, the restrictions have been eased up to a great extent. But in the time students who were initially planning to go to Japan dropped their plans of studying there and opted for some other country due to the delays that the government of Japan was creating in letting international students enter the country. The pandemic has also created an influenced the students that had already been studying in Japan before the pandemic. Employment ratios among international students in Japan have fallen with them not being able to get placed in Japanese industries Even after obtaining education in Japan itself. Although Japan has launched a lot of online programs in order to keep up with the trend of online education, a lot of skill sets that the Japanese education system believes in are not easy to be taught through the virtual means of teaching.
