This year the Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to introduce a new subject called Thanatology into the curriculum. This subject deals with different aspects of death and all the forensic phone maladies associated with it. Earlier the subject used to not be a part of the Indian curriculum but this year Cbse decided to introduce it for the students of class 11th and 12th.
All the interested students can pursue forensic science after their class 12th and can become professionals in the same field.The subject will explore the body changes that occur in the body after death. It also deals with other psychological and social aspects. All the students who are intrigued by the discipline of psychology can pair these two subjects as it forms a spectacular combination.
