Brain drain refers to a phenomenon in which the youth of a country shifts to another country for better life and opportunities. Even though it is said that they often come back and use the imparted education for the good of their own country only but smaller countries with compactor GDP don't get to witness. This as well. The USA alone gave study permits to 8598 Bangladeshis in the year 2020-2021. Besides the USA, other rich countries such as Canada, Australia, Japan etc give hundreds of scholarships to students from underdeveloped countries. This may sound very charitable and considerate, but it causes a huge drain of youth from these countries. Very often these students settle in the same countries where they study and leave their home countries behind. The situation is very much similar to rich getting richer and poor getting poorer.
