According to a research by Cornell University, earnings of women decrease across all the education groups after the birth of their child. The effect of pandemic was a double hit for women who were planning to get back after the birth of their children. Not only they faced huge salary drops, many of them were not even able to get themselves a job worthy of their degrees. While the income of men remain oblivious to the birth of their children and they have to hardly face any work related problems after childbirth, women have to be a perpetual victim of after birth related work prejudices.
