Work from home became a popular concept during the pandemic and even now when the pandemic has ended, people are preferring to work from home only. The impact of work from home is very different on women as compared to men. A survey was conducted to check the productivity of men and women during work from the home period in Canada and Australia. According to the survey, women were more prone to experiencing work pressure than men. A major reason behind this is the fact that women at home were also under obligations to do domestic work and take care of children if there were any at home. Striking the balance between these two dimensions can be consuming. Even now when the situation has gone back to normal may a lot of women are choosing to stay at home and work. This may seem like a good of saving time and money but the physical representation of women in workplaces will become very less which is concerning.
