If a student studying for up to a year should have at least $1,250 for each month of study.

If you will be staying in New Zealand for more than 3 months, you may need to apply for a student visa. Students from Australia or other countries with an agreement with New Zealand do not need to apply for a visa.

Once you have your student’s visa for New Zealand, you can stay in the country for up to four years and is permitted to work up to 20 hours per week. You must be enrolled with an approved university or college in New Zealand and have the money to pay for your course. Admission requirements for New Zealand universities

A student is required to have the following things to study in New Zealand:

  1. Academic record of AISSCE of CBSE or Indian School Certificate would be equivalent to Form 7 (matriculation) of New Zealand Secondary Education.
  2. Evidence of an adequate level of competence in English is required for international students. A minimum score of 550 or a scaled score 0-30(80-120) for TOEFL is required for Undergraduate courses whereas a score of 600 or a scaled score of 0-30(80- 120).
  3. For IELTS a score of 6.0for UG courses and 6.5 for PG courses is required.
  4. Visa and valid passport
