Established in 1927, the Massey University is the second largest university in New Zealand. Massey University has campuses in the Manawatu at Palmerston North, at Wellington (in the suburb of Mt Cook) and on Auckland's North Shore at Albany. The university delivers research-led teaching and research training across all the three campuses and has the country’s largest business college.
Massey University comprises of 5 colleges such as College of Business; College of Creative Arts; College of Health; College of Humanities and Social Sciences; and College of Sciences. The university provides more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines. Its College of Business holds accreditation from AACSB International. Programmes hold endorsements from national and international bodies and professional organizations such as CIMA, ACCA and CFA.
The university has a total student population of more than 33,900 students of which more than 9000 are international students. The student to faculty ratio at the university is 15:1.
Massey has exchange agreements with 43 universities around the globe which gives the students the opportunity to spend part of their study period overseas. Massey’s degree in Food Technology has an outstanding 40-year track record and is one of only two universities outside the Americas, accredited by the United States-based Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
