The CQUniCares Anglo American Scholarship is awarded by CQ University Australia to all domestic and international second-year undergraduate engineering students to provide financial assistance and recognition.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be studying in second year of Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), or Diploma of Professional Practice (Co-op Engineering), or Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) at the university.
- Should not be receiving any other scholarship of similar and higher value from the university.
Note: Preference is given to Female Applicants, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and Socially and Economically disadvantaged applicants.
How to apply:
An applicant:
- Should submit an online application along with transcripts, academic achievements, and resume through the university website
- Should also submit a 500-word essay outlining the applicant’s life experiences, extracurricular activities, career goals, and how the scholarship can help the applicant to achieve his or her goals stated in the essay.
- May also be required to submit documents such as confirmation of identity, evidence of low income, income statement, pay slips, tax returns, or bank statements on case to case basis.
