The CQUniCares Dr. John Allen Memorial Scholarship is awarded by CQ University Australia to first-year undergraduate students studying an undergraduate program in Music or Theatre at Conservatorium of Music at the university’s Mackay campus. Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Humanitarian Visa Holders, and New Zealand Citizens can contest for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Humanitarian Visa Holder, or New Zealand Citizen studying in any year of Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Theatre at the university’s Mackay campus.
- Should not hold any other scholarship from CQ University of similar or higher value.
How to apply:
An applicant:
- Should submit an online application along with transcripts, academic achievements, and resume through the university website
- Should also submit a 500-word essay outlining the applicant’s life experiences, extracurricular activities, career goals, and how the scholarship can help the applicant to achieve his or her goals stated in the essay.
