The CQUniCares Costa Avocado Scholarship is awarded by CQ University Australia to first-year undergraduate students studying Bachelor of Agriculture at the university. The scholarship is meant to provide financial support and recognition. Australian Citizens, New Zealand Citizens, Australian Permanent Residents, and Humanitarian Visa Holders are eligible to contest for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Humanitarian Visa Holder, or New Zealand Citizen studying the first year of Bachelor in Agriculture full-time degree at the university.
- Should not hold any other scholarship from CQ University of similar or higher value.
Note: Preference is given to a student from the Bundaberg region.
How to apply:
An applicant:
- Should submit an online application website along with transcripts, academic achievements, and resume through the university website.
- Should also submit a 500-word essay outlining the applicant’s life experiences, extracurricular activities, career goals, and how the scholarship can help the applicant to achieve his or her goals stated in the essay.

The scholarship awards AUD 15000 and paid vacation employment or work experience.
