Eligibility criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for the LSAT must qualify the eligibility criteria first, which is  the candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from any university or must be appearing in the final semester of graduation to apply for admission.

LSAT is 3 hours and 30 minutes long test, split up into 5 modules-

Reading comprehension (1 section)

LSAT Sections & Syllabus

Logical reasoning

Half of the exam is based on logical reasoning. This section is designed with arguments to measure the ability of a student to identify and assess untrue presumptions.

Analytical reasoning

This section is designed to check the proficiency of a student to understand the structure of relationships and come up with logical conclusions.

Reading comprehension 

In this section, students are judged based on their reading, understanding, and analyzing abilities.

LSAT score calculation

All the questions in LSAT have equal weightage and the raw score is converted to a scale score of 120-180 through a method named equating. Through the equating method, the score is adjusted concerning the difficulty level of the test.

Registration, exam date, and result date

The registration for the LSAT opens up 4 times a year in February, June, September/October, and December. The LSAT is conducted four times a year which leaves you with enough chances to give the exam and concentrate on your LSAT test prep accordingly. The candidates can choose the month as per their LSAT preparation courses and the result is declared 15 days after taking the test.
