The Clermont Aboriginal Community Development Fund Scholarship is awarded by CQ University Australia to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents enrolled in the first, second, or third year of any undergraduate degree. The scholarship supports two students each year from Clermont Belyando Area or Aboriginal students.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident commencing first, second, or third year of any Bachelor's Degree program at the university.
- Should not have received any other scholarship of similar or higher value from the university.
- Should belong to Clermont Belyando Area and should have resided there for more than 2 years.
How to apply:
An applicant:
- Should submit an online application along with evidence of academic achievements and community involvement, confirmation of identity, and resume through the university website
- Should also submit a 500-word essay outlining the applicant’s life experiences, why CQ University, extracurricular activities, career goals, and how the scholarship can help the applicant to achieve his or her goals stated in the essay.
