The CQUniCares Emu Park Lion Club Scholarship is awarded by CQ University Australia to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Humanitarian Visa Holders, and New Zealand Citizens enrolled in the first year or intending to start the first year of the undergraduate degree at the university. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students from Emu Park those who are studying Health or Education related programs.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Humanitarian Visa Holder, or New Zealand Citizen studying in first year or intending to study Bachelor of Allied Health, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honors), Bachelor of Oral Health, Bachelor of Paramedic Science, Bachelor of Psychological Science, Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Social Work (Honors), or Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honors)
- Should not have received any scholarship of similar or higher value from the university.
- Must demonstrate financial need or submit proof of low income.
- Must reside in Emu Park area.
How to apply:
An applicant:
- Should submit an online application along with evidence of academic achievements, community involvement, evidence of financial hardship, and resume through the university website.
- Should also submit a 500-word essay outlining the applicant’s life experiences, extracurricular activities, career goals, and how the scholarship can help the applicant to achieve his or her goals stated in the essay.
