The Women in IT Scholarship is offered by CQ University Australia to female Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents studying the third or final year of an IT-related program at the university. The scholarship offers financial support and a 3-month paid work placement. The scholarship is funded by BizCover.
Eligibility Criteria/Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Must be a female Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident studying third or final year of Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science and Technology, Advanced Computing, or Design Computing.
How to apply:
An applicant:
- Should submit an application to BizCover on BizCover’s official website.
- Should attend face to face interview at BizCover’s Sydney office. Skype interviews can be conducted for students not based in Sydney.
- Should demonstrate good academic achievement, past involvement in IT projects, and good communication skills.
