Horatio Alger Mel Klein Scholarship are awarded by Horatio Alger Association and funded by Association Member, Mel Klein, the founder of Melvyn N. Klein Interests. This scholarship is offered to high school senior students who intend to attend Colgate University, Columbia University, Stanford University, or Tulane University.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible for the scholarship an applicant:
- Should be a citizen of the United States 
- Should demonstrate financial need with gross family income not more than $55,000 
- Should maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
Note
Applicants applying for this scholarship will also be considered for national/state scholarship awards.
