The Career & Technical Scholarship Program was introduced by the Horatio Alger Association and funded through the Horatio Alger Endowment Fund for the students who have faced and overcame great obstacles in their lives. This scholarship is open to all United States citizens who intend to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant:
- Should have completed high school
- Should be under the age of 30
- Should demonstrate financial need.

Value
This Scholarship awards 1020 scholarships up to $2,500 each. These funds are used for tuition fees, books and supplies. On behalf of the student, these scholarships are paid to the institution directly.
