National Scholarships are awarded by Horatio Alger Association and funded by Horatio Alger Members for the high school students who have overcome obstacles during their childhood. This scholarship is open to students from all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico who intend to study in any discipline. To receive this award applicants should attend a National Scholars Conference.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines:
To be eligible for the scholarship an applicant:
- Should be a high school student enrolled in full-time program.
- Should intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree at any accredited non-profit public or private institution.
- Should have a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Should demonstrate financial need with gross family income not more than $55,000 Should be involved in co- curricular and community service activities.

The student can apply for the scholarship by submitting the application form along with the required documents online.
