Q. How easy is it to get admission at Medical University of Lodz?

The Medical University of Lodz has made its admission process hassle free. The admission procedure is quite smooth and quick. The procedure of admission to the Medical University of Lodz starts with topping off the application structure to study prescription in Poland. Medical aspirants who seek international education find admission in MUL comparatively easy as they do not require UCAT/BMAT or other such standardized tests. They university has its own panel for finalizing applicants which is done through their entrance test and personal interview.

Yes, Medical University of Lodz gives a conditional admission until further complete visa documentation is arranged and provided by the student. 

Q. How Do I apply to Medical University of Lodz?

The candidate is required to complete a set of documents:

– an application form with attached photo

– copies of certificates and diplomas,

– a copy of transcript of records,

– an English language certificate,

– a cover letter (how to write a cover letter),

– administrative fee of 20 Euro,

and upload to THE ADMISSION IRK online platform or on rare occasion send them to the International Relations Office

Q. What are the eligibility requirements for admission?

The eligibility criteria includes the following:

6-YEAR MD and 5-YEAR DMD – for high school/secondary school graduates

• A high school diploma or a secondary school leaving certificate or equal as GCE A-level certificates or IB and EB diplomas qualifying for admission to a university or a medical school in the home country.

• Extended level of knowledge in 2 of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics – documented by the above mentioned school leaving certificates/diplomas. The grades required should be above the average.
  The above knowledge is to be verified during the Skype entrance exam.

• English competency written and spoken confirmed by the respective certificates as CAE, CPE, TOEFL IBT (minimum 75 points), IELTS (min 6.0 points) if the secondary education was not conducted in English.
  The command of English of candidates who cannot present any of the above certificates will be assessed during the entrance exam.

MD for university graduates (at least a Bachelor’s level of education finished)

• High school diploma or a secondary school leaving certificate qualifying for admission to a university or a medical school in the home country

• Extended level of knowledge in one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Mathematics – documented by the above mentioned school leaving certificates/diplomas.

• The grade required should be above the average. 

• English competency written and spoken confirmed by the respective certificates as CAE, CPE, TOEFL IBT (minimum 75 points), IELTS (min 6.0 points) if the secondary education was not conducted in English    

• The command of English of candidates who cannot present any of the above certificates will be assessed during the entrance exam.

Please note that the Nursing program will start only on condition that minimum 36 students will be successfully enrolled to the 1st year.

Q. What are the IELTS requirements?

Q.What is the application fee in Medical University of Lodz?

Application Fee EUR 120 (non-refundable) paid in advance (before the Ms Teams entrance exam).

There is an October intake at the University.

A cover letter is a mandatory part of your application and it is about your personal and educational accomplishments linked to what you want to study and why.

Q. What do I include in my personal statement?

The cover letter should:
* help you to clarify your own ideas on what you want to do and why over your period of studies;
* provide us with some knowledge on your interests, background and future plans;
* outline why you decided to choose this particular study programme.
We highly recommend including the following information:
*general information about an education history and any additional qualifications of the candidate;
*information on language skills / competences;
*employment history in brief;
*additional information regarding the candidate’s experience;
*the name and address of at least one referee.
Please, keep in mind all the points mentioned above while composing your letter.
