The university has one of the leading research centers in Poland. It is a 75 years old medical school offering a wide range of medical courses accommodating about 10000+ students and 2000+ faculty. It introduced medical teaching in English since 2003/2004 that attracts around 1500+ international students. MUL welcomes students from 66 countries. 

Medical University of Lodz partners with a number of institutions globally for scientific co-operation including King’s College London, University of Toronto, Humboldt Universitat, Catholic University in Nijmegen, Universite Claude Bernard, and University in Bielefeld.
