Here are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's programs at the Applied Science University of Bahrain:

Secondary School Certificate: Applicants must have a Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, certified by the Ministry of Education in Bahrain, with an average of no less than 60%. Some specific programs, like Law, require a minimum average of 70%. Applicants with averages below 60% may be considered if they are athletes or artists who represent Bahrain internationally or have practical experience.

Program-Specific Requirements: Some programs have additional criteria. For example, Law applicants must have a minimum average of 70%, and those applying for Graphic Design or Interior Design must undergo an interview and assessment test. For Computer Science, students must have completed the Scientific Track in their high school education.

English Language Proficiency: All students must take an English placement test upon admission. Depending on the results, students may be required to take English language courses. Those with a TOEFL score of 450 or higher or an IELTS score of 5 or higher may be exempt from additional English language courses.

Required Documents: Applicants need to submit several documents, including their Secondary School Certificate and transcript, equivalency certificate (for non-Bahraini certificates), a copy of their personal ID and passport, recent photos, and a health fitness certificate from an approved center. Students transferring from another university must also provide an official transcript and course descriptions.

Additional Criteria for Admission Below 60% Average: For applicants with an average below 60%, the university may admit them if they are international athletes or artists or have at least one year of relevant practical experience after completing their secondary school education. This category is limited to a maximum of 5% of the total student intake.
