The old campus is a part of the city's historic downtown district. It is the site of the School of Law and also has Wesemann Hall and Heritage Hall. Heritage was the oldest remaining building on the campus. The school expanded eastward to occupy what is known as the “new campus.” Now, it is the center of the university, home to thousands of students in nine dormitories and most of the academic buildings. It offers modern infrastructure facilities, including innovation hubs, classrooms, housing, etc.
Hundreds of student-run clubs and organizations representing various personal and professional interests are located at Valparaiso University. Each club allows the student to participate in on-campus activities and connect with other students who share their interests. Valparaiso University supports Students through wellness, counseling, health, and spiritual services. The wellness programs are dedicated to protecting students from alcohol, drugs, and smoking while fostering their mental health and general welfare. The health facility is committed to looking after the students' physical health. The pupils can participate in sports and other leisure activities.
