Academic Qualification:

International applicants must present a secondary school certificate or high school diploma (e.g., Grade 12/GCE A?Level), suitably notarized and translated. GTU accepts IGCSE/UK curricula (minimum 3 A?levels), or equivalent. 

Age Requirement:

Typically, applicants should be 17 years or older at the time of entry. 

Language Proficiency:

Proof of English proficiency at B2 level (or above) via recognized tests (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL) is required, or passing GTU’s internal English placement test.

Resume/CV & personal statement or motivation letter

Birth certificate & parental documents (if under 18)

For Indian students: NEET certificate required for medicine/dentistry programmes

Admission Process:

Submission via online portal or email to GTU’s International Relations Department. Following document assessment, applicants take a short interview or entrance test. University recognition through the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement leads to formal enrollment. 

Intakes:

GTU operates two annual intakesAutumn (September/October) and Spring (February/March)—with no fixed universal application deadline.

A research team led by GTU’s Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Biosystem Engineering won a prestigious national research grant from the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (Georgia) for a project titled: “Development of new synbiotic and probiotic beverages of grape origin…,” blending microbial biotechnology with grape-based food innovation .
