completing the university application :
Recognized School Leaving Certificate
– Must be equivalent to the German Abitur (higher secondary education).
– If not directly equivalent, students may need to attend a Studienkolleg and pass the Feststellungsprüfung (assessment test).
Language Proficiency
– For German-taught programs, proof of German skills (such as TestDaF, DSH, or Goethe-Zertifikat C1/C2) is required.
– For English-taught programs, valid English proficiency scores (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL) are necessary.
University Entrance Qualification (HZB)
– Evaluated via uni-assist for most international applicants to ensure your credentials meet German academic standards.
Application via University or uni-assist
– Applications are generally submitted through RUB’s portal or via uni-assist (depending on country and course).
– Documents must be officially translated into German or English.
