University History

Keiser University is a private university that is based at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The University was founded in the year 1977 by Dr. Arthur Keiser and Evelyn Keiser. Earlier, it started as Keiser Institute of Technology. Then later on, in 1986 it became Keiser College as it started awarding degrees. Finally, in 2006 it changed its name from college to Keiser University. The university today is known worldwide for its academic excellence. Keiser University has become Florida’s largest private with 20,000 students
