She completed her residency at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem the year after receiving her M.D. from New York University School of Medicine in 1952. She decided to focus on pediatric neurology, which was relatively new in Israel at the time, and opened the country's first pediatric neurology clinic at Bikur Holim Hospital in 1968.
