The below information is required while
completing the university application :
First-Time Freshmen / High School Graduates
Completion of the Louisiana Board of Regents’ High School Core Curriculum, typically 19 units (core subject requirements).
Minimum high school GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
Submission of official high school transcript with date of graduation.
Official ACT or SAT scores: for freshmen, required unless certain test-optional criteria apply.
Subscores minimums: e.g. ACT English ≥ 18 or Math ≥ 19; or equivalent on SAT.
Only one developmental (remedial) course permitted.
Out-of-State / Home School / Out-of-State Freshmen
Must meet one of several criteria: completion of Regents’ Core, minimum GPA 2.0, or a minimum composite ACT/SAT.
ACT / SAT or equivalent exam scores required.
Transfer Students
Submission of official college transcripts from all prior institutions.
Students with 18+ college credits are treated as transfers; those with fewer credits must meet freshman criteria.
Other Requirements
Application fee (e.g. USD 25).
Immunization / health records submitted before registration.
For online / distance students applying, similar core & GPA / test score requirements must be satisfied.
