The below information is required while
completing the university application :
1. Admission Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must be verified via official transcripts (translated into English if applicable).
English Proficiency:
TOEFL: Minimum 79 (iBT) or 550 (PBT).
IELTS: Minimum 6.0 overall.
Duolingo: Minimum 95.
Waivers: Available for students from English-speaking countries or those with prior U.S. college credits.
Transfer Credits: Up to 90 credits accepted from accredited institutions (evaluated by TESU or NACES-approved agencies like WES).
2. Required Documentation
Passport Copy (for identity verification).
Financial Proof: Bank statement or sponsor letter showing $25,000+ for F-1 visa eligibility (if applying for on-campus programs).
Transcripts: Official copies (with certified English translations).
Visa Status: TESU is primarily online, but F-1 visas require full-time enrollment (12+ credits per term) if studying on-site.
3. Degree Completion Requirements
120 Credits Minimum:
General Education (45 credits): Includes math, science, humanities.
Major (30–60 credits): Varies by program (e.g., Business, Computer Science).
Electives: Remaining credits from transfers or TESU courses.
Residency Requirement: At least 24 credits must be earned at TESU (can be online).
GPA: Minimum 2.0 overall; some majors require 3.0.
4. Flexible Credit Options for International Students
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA): Credit for work experience, certifications, or military training (evaluated case-by-case).
Exams: CLEP, DSST, or TESU’s own exams (UExcel) for credit-by-examination.
Corporate/International Training: Some professional certifications may transfer (e.g., IT, healthcare).
