Researchers at UB2 conducted a detailed numerical simulation of a high-efficiency perovskite solar cell (PSC) using the SCAPS-1D simulator. The proposed design features a multilayer structure with AgCdF₃/KGeCl₃ as an active double absorber layer, significantly enhancing overall performance. The simulation results achieved a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 37.75%, indicating a promising advancement in solar energy technology.
