University History
Biola University is a private Christian university located in Southern California. The university was founded in 1908 by Lyman Stewart who was the founder and President of Union Oil Company and Rev. T.C.Horton. Earlier it started as Biola College but later on in the year 1981, it became Biola University. The university though started small in the beginning now comprises nine schools. The university now has more than 6000 students coming from all over the world.
