English cricket analyst and former player Nasser Hussain OBE captained the England team from 1999 to 2003. His career as an international player from 1990 to 2004. Hussain was a fierce right-handed batsman who amassed over 30,000 runs in over 650 games in both List-A and first-class cricket, including 62 hundreds. Wisden regarded his greatest Test score of 207, which he achieved in the first Test of the 1997 Ashes at Edgbaston, as "touched by genius". In all, he participated in 96 Test matches and 88 One Day International matches. He took 67 catches and scored 5,764 runs in Test matches, mostly fielding at the second slip and gully. View Less
