North Central College

North Central College's history started in 1861 as Plainfield College. The institute conducted its first classes on the 11th of November in 1861. The Board of Trustees renamed it North-Western College in the year 1864. In 1870, the college shifted its campus from Plainfield to Naperville and renamed it North Central College.
