Established in 1927, the Tilburg University is a public research university located in the Tilburg, the southern part of Netherlands. With students from over 100 countries, the university is known for its international orientation.
The university offers various undergraduate and graduate programs through its 6 schools and colleges: Tilburg School of Economics and Management; Tilburg Law School; School of Social and Behavioral Sciences; School of Humanities; School of Theology; and the University College Tilburg. The university is renowned for its programs in social and behavioral sciences, economics, law, business sciences, theology, and humanities. It offers both Dutch-and English-taught programs.
The total student population at the university is more than 11,400 students of which over 6,700 are enrolled in the undergraduate programs and student faculty ratio is 12:1. About 10% of the students at the university are international students.
Tilburg has one of the best business schools in the world, it ranks 11th in the world for Business and Economics (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016-2017). The University’s Economics program has been a top-ranked program for three years in a row (Keuzegids consumer guide).
The Tilburg University has partnered with Study Group’s Holland International Study Center to provide International Foundation Year. The student can progress to a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management at Tilburg University after successfully completing the foundation year program.
