Ans. The main campus of Tufts University is located on Walnut Hill in Medford and Somerville, which is about 8km to Boston. The majority of the campus is in Medford; the Somerville line intersects it, placing the lower campus in Somerville and leading to the common terms ‘Uphill’ and ‘Downhill’. The Uphill part of the campus comprises the academic and the residential quad. The academic quad has the earliest buildings and was built in the 19th century. Boston

Q. How are the libraries of Tufts University?

Tufts' first library building, Eaton Memorial Library, was formed in 1908, and was made possible by Andrew Carnegie. The building was extended in 1950 with the construction of the War Memorial Library in memory of Tufts Alumni who served in World War II. In 1965 the collection outgrew the building and was moved to a new library named Wessell Library.

Today the Tufts Library system has over 3 million volumes. The main library, the Tisch Library, has over 2.7 million volumes. Other Libraries of the Tufts University are –
