Ans. The main campus of The University of Massachusetts is located in Amherst. The campus extends approx 1 mile from the campus center in all directions as a series of concentric rings. These are in turn surrounded by a ring of athletic facilities, administration buildings and parking lots. The campus has its own power generation facility.
