The below information is required while
completing the university application :
A higher secondary school certificate equivalent to the German Abitur.
German language proficiency for most programs (DSH-2, TestDaF 4x4, etc.).
For English-taught programs: IELTS (6.5+), TOEFL (min 90 iBT).
APS certificate required for applicants from certain countries (e.g., India, China).
Some programs may require a preparatory course (Studienkolleg) if qualifications don’t match directly.
Application through uni-assist or the Potsdam portal.
Application deadlines: typically July 15 for the winter semester.
