Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at Bauman Moscow State Technical University

The below information is required while
completing the university application :

Applicants must hold a completed secondary-education certificate (or equivalent). 

They must take entrance examinations, with priority subjects depending on the chosen field (commonly mathematics, physics, Russian language). 

For international applicants: documents (education certificate/transcript) must be translated into Russian and notarized; sometimes higher scores or equivalence are required. 

Applicants must meet a minimum age requirement (often 17 years or older in the year of admission). 

The standard duration of the Bachelor’s programme is about 4 years full-time

  • SILA Union : BMSTU signed a cooperation agreement with SILA Union in July 2025. Under the agreement, SILA Union will provide BMSTU students and faculty access to its digital-transformation tools, co-develop courses and case-studies, and provide internships and employment opportunities for top-performing students.
  • Rostec State Corporation : BMSTU has a partnership with Rostec, including an agreement on engineering training and preparation of skilled personnel for defense-industry enterprises.
  • Nanotestconsult : BMSTU has cooperation (via RUDN University listing) with Nanotestconsult (a nanotechnology-focused firm) under “employment partnerships” heading: students practice there with possibility of employment after graduation.
