The below information is required while
completing the university application :
1. Academic Qualification
Applicants must hold a recognized Higher Education Entrance Qualification (HZB)—such as the German Abitur, or equivalent international certificates.
Non-EU/EEA applicants submit through uni?assist, whereas EU/EEA applicants apply directly.
Certain subjects (e.g., Psychology, Music, English) may require aptitude testing or entrance exams?.
2. Application Deadlines & Procedure
Non-EU/EEA: Submit via uni?assist from early November to January 15 for summer intake? .
EU/EEA: Apply directly online from March 26 (winter) or early November (summer)?.
3. Language Requirements
German-language programs: Provide certification such as DSH?2 or TestDaF TDN ≥16 (or Goethe C2)? .
English-medium programs: Proof of B2 level English, evidenced via recognized certificates or prior education?.
4. Enrollment Documents
Include admission letter, educational certificates/transcripts (translated/sworn), health insurance proof, and language certificates. Applicants from India, China, or Vietnam may require an APS certificate?.
