For the benefit of researchers and physicians, the initiative has produced the largest clinical data store for EIT clinical data in the world. The clinical utility of EIT has been improved by the development of new wearable hardware. In the largest clinical research to date, EIT was successfully utilised to monitor preterm infants, influencing clinical practices.
