The UK to put limitations on dependent visa

In the coming days, it will become more challenging for international students to bring their families to the UK. The government of the UK is planning to put restrictions on the dependent visas in the coming months. Around 490,000 sponsored study visas were given to international students in 2022, a record high since 2005. More than 135,000 family members accompanied these students to the UK. People have mixed reviews for this new strategy of the government of the UK. Some say restricting dependent visas will stop international students from coming to the UK, which is not the best thing for the current economy. Others say that by restricting dependent visas, the government will be able to welcome more international students in their place.
