Nepalese government to stop students from going abroad for language and vocational courses

Nepal has become a huge contributor of international students to the global education market. Last year more than 1,25,000 students went abroad from Nepal itself for higher education. Considering the interest of students in moving abroad, the Nepali government has taken a new decision regarding study abroad and visas. The Nepalese government will no longer allow students to go to foreign countries for vocational and language courses. A similar role was applicable in Nepal till 2019 after which it was discontinued. Now the government is going to introduce the law again under which new students will be given a visa if they want to pursue a language or a vocational course abroad. This NOC method is a control mechanism by the government to stop the outflow of students from the country.

 

NEET UG exam city allotments for 2023 out for students

NTA has issued the exam city slips for NEET UG, 2023 exam. Students can download the exam city slips from the official website of NEET UG. All those aspirants who registered for the exams will be able to download the slips with the help of their credentials. Candidates will need the application number and date of birth to download the exam city slips. The NEET UG exam will be conducted on 7th May, 2023. The exam will be conducted in 499 cities in pen and paper mode. Now that the exam city allotment is out, students can expect the admit card to be out anytime soon.

JEE advance registration for 2023 begins for students

The registration process for JEE advance exam 2023 has started for students. This year IIT Guwahati is responsible for conducting the registration process for the JEE advance exam. JEE advance is the second stage of the JEE exam. The first stage is the JEE mains exam. The last date to apply for the exam is May 7, 2023. Only those students who have cleared the cut-offs as per their category will be allowed to sit for the JEE advance exam. Not everyone is eligible to give this exam. General category Students must have been born on or after first October, 1998 to appear for the exam. There is an age relaxation of five years for ST and SC candidates. It is important for the student to have appeared for the class 12th exams with PCM as their core subjects. The candidate should not have been a part of IIT as a full-time student before.

JEE Mains 2023 session 2 result out

The result for JEE mains exam 2023 session two is out. Students can check the results on the official website of JEE Mains. Checking the results they will need their credentials. NTA is responsible for the conduction and result declaration of the JEE mains exam. The session 2 exam was conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15, 2023. The official answer key was released on 19th April, 2023 and the final provisional answer key was released on 24th April, 2023. International higher education institutions in Dubai register a growth in enrolment of international students by 8%

As per the new data revealed by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), international higher education institutions in Dubai have experienced a growth in the enrolment of international students by 8% in the last year. ETS announces new scholarship for Indian students

The National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) have collaborated with the ETS to provide Indian students who want to study abroad with the new scholarship. This scholarship will be called ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’. Under the scholarship, around 25, students will be selected and will be rewarded with a scholarship worth Rs.60,00,000. Students who have a dream of studying in the UK, for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree can apply for the scholarship. Each selected candidate will get Rs 2.5 lakh. To be eligible it is important to have a minimum TOEFL score of 75 out of 120. The students should be a first timer for studying in the UK. Also, the student must have an acceptance letter from one of the universities of the UK. The student cannot avail any other scholarship if they want to get selected for this scholarship. Students also have to submit a 500 words essay on the given topic.
