The University of London provides scholarship opportunities to the students on the basis of academic excellence. The university provides several facilities to the students including accommodation where it operates eight intercollegiate halls of residence, which accommodate students from most of its colleges and institutions. The university has many sports clubs and traditions where the student union also organized its own leagues for college teams to participate in. These leagues and sports clubs are supported by Friends of the University of London Sport which aims to promote them. Although there is no official minimum GPA required, international students applying to the University of London for undergraduate studies often need to meet certain academic requirements, English language skills, and sometimes a GPA of 3.0 or better. Depending on the curriculum selected and the student's educational background, the particular requirements may change. 60% or a CGPA of 2.5/4.0 in the Higher Secondary Education Board Examination or the School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grades XI and XII). Duolingo (with a minimum score of 105), the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, and the City & Guilds International ESOL 8984 Mastery award are among the additional credentials that the University of London acknowledges.
