Aarhus University is a public research university which was established in the year 1928. The university is located in Aarhus, Denmark and is Denmark's second oldest university. Aarhus University is placed in the top 100 in most prestigious ranking lists of the world's best universities.

Aarhus University comprises four faculties such as Faculty of Arts, Aarhus BSS, Faculty of Science and Technology, and Faculty of Health. The university has four schools Aarhus University School of Engineering, School of Communication and Culture, School of Culture and Society, Danish School of Education as well as forty educational departments, some of them are: Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Department of Political Science, Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, Department of Public Health, Department of Philosophy and History of Ideas, Department of The Study of Religion, Department of Theology, and many more. The university also has many research centres, an International Centre, a Summer University, and many more academic programs. 

Aarhus University has more than 33,900 Students which include 17,504 Undergraduate students, and 16,395 Graduate students. The university has more than 11,550 Faculty members. 

Aarhus University provides scholarship opportunities to the students on the basis of academic excellence. The university also provides the students with a Library which is accessible 24/7, lets the students borrow Dictaphones for interviews, group work rooms, large screen projectors, lockers, relaxation areas, reference tools, workstations, and many more facilities.
