In the center of Cambridge's ancient university district sits the absolutely exceptional modern campus of Abbey College Cambridge, an independent residential school. The crew created the more than 45,000 square feet of teaching and support space on campus, which was specifically constructed to meet the boarding and learning requirements of our students. The campus is situated at the heart of Cambridge's historic university district at Homerton Gardens, on a private road. Campus is a 10-minute bike ride (or 25-minute walk) from the city center. The campus is ten minutes' walk from Cambridge train station.

It is vibrant, modern, and exudes the global vibe of a major metropolis. Everywhere you look is breathtaking architecture that masterfully combines the old and the new. However, there are also world-class venues for other sports including cycling, badminton, squash, and cricket. But the city is much more than just a sports destination; it is the cultural hub of northern England, home to some of the top museums, libraries, and commercial and artistic establishments in the nation.

Excellent housing will be offered for UK and international students who do not reside in theCambridge area. The main goal is to guarantee that all new students who need housing have a spot reserved before they come at the college to study, while the specifics of each student's age will influence how the accommodations are set up. At the beginning of the academic year, students who are 16 years of age or older can choose to live in the Student Residence—Riverside House—or with a host family. The college is about a fifteen-minute walk from Riverside House, which provides excellent, secure lodging. Riverside House features CCTV cameras, a secure door entry system, and on-site security around-the-clock. Additionally, there is a weekly kitchen cleaning, onsite maintenance staff, laundry facilities, and safe cycle storage. Unless they reside with a parent or other blood relative (such as an aunt, uncle, grandparents, or a sibling or sister who is older than 25), students under the age of 16 at the beginning of the school year are required to live with a host family. In order to provide a welcoming and secure atmosphere where students may unwind, integrate, and learn, host families are carefully chosen. In addition to a desk and storage space, each student will enjoy a spacious bedroom. Typically, the family uses the same restrooms. Sometimes, though, the house will have two bathrooms, and sometimes a student would have a bathroom all to themselves.

Abbey Cambridge's Careers department strives to fulfill all eight Gatsby Index requirements for Good Careers Guidance in order to make sure that their students are well equipped to handle the job challenges that lie ahead of them after they graduate from college. Abbey Cambridge's Careers program provides a top-notch, unbiased, and current information and assistance program, which includes: Organizing a range of career-related events; • Providing speakers Every year, they host the UCAS Fair, where students from Y11 onward use Unifrog to look at career opportunities and reflect on their own skills and aptitudes through the extensive personality tests available on the website.
