Acadia University History

Acadia University is a Canadian higher education establishment located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The university was established as Queen’s College in 1838 and was renamed to Acadia College in 1841. It was conferred university status in 1891 and adopted its present name. It currently enrols over 3700 students.
