Yes, AAU provides on-campus dormitory accommodation, but it is limited in availability. The university currently operates two dormitory blocks with a combined capacity of 926 students: Block A: Houses approximately 200 female students Block B: Houses approximately 726 male students
Yes, the university has plans to expand its housing capacity. An additional 80 rooms are currently under development, which will allow 320 more students to be housed on campus. Additionally, the university provides modestly priced cafeteria services for self-sponsored students living on or off campus.
Dormitory spaces are primarily reserved for students from regions outside of Addis Ababa. To be considered, students must submit a dormitory application during or after the admission process. However, due to limited availability, not all applicants will be accommodated.
