Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at Amity University Dubai

Applicants must possess a Higher Secondary School Certificate from the UAE or an equivalent foreign qualification—reflecting completion of 12 years of schooling.

Although precise overall percentage thresholds aren’t centrally specified in official documents, external sources indicate that candidates typically need an average of 60%–65% in Class X and XII, depending on their educational board.

English proficiency expectations are generally standardized by accrediting bodies—commonly requiring at least IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 79 (iBT), though official documentation does not specify exact scores.

Students whose high school average falls below 60% may receive conditional admission, allowing them to register for up to 12 credits in their first semester, including remedial English if necessary. These students must achieve at least a CGPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) by the end of semester 1, or face academic probation.
