University History

Anderson University is a private Christian university in Anderson, Indiana. It was established in the year 1917 as the Anderson Bible Training School. This University over the years grew and expanded its horizons by adding more and more degrees and courses and was finally named Anderson University. The university was established and sustained within the free and open traditions of the Church of God and is committed to being a teaching-learning community of the highest order.

Anderson University Infrastructure and Services

Anderson University Campus 

Anderson University is a 100-acre campus located in Anderson, Indiana which is approximately 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana. The University has a Reardon Auditorium and the Kardatzke Wellness Center. There is also an Athletic facility on the campus including Macholtz Stadium and the O. C. Lewis Gymnasium. The Krannert Fine Arts Building has a fully equipped digital studio for students to learn the basics of recording concepts.  The Anderson University studio has recital recordings, clients, and three classes. The campus consists of various academic buildings like Byrum Hall, Decker Hall, Hartung Hall, Krannert Hall, Hardacre Hall, and also various sports and recreational centers like Bennett Natatorium (men's/women's swimming and diving) Don Brandon Field, Esports lab, Kardatzke Wellness Center, Macholtz Stadium, O.C. Lewis Gymnasium, Raven Field, Scott Fridley Field.
