Biochemistry is a very broad science that studies the molecules and chemistry of life. Biochemistry focuses on the structure, properties, and interactions of molecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, sugars and lipids. Biochemistry s aim is to understand how these molecules participate in the processes that support the various functions of the living cell. These studies are therefore essential for understanding disease and finding cures, for improving agriculture and the production of food and biofuels, and to produce innovation in biotechnology.

Complete Application, Official Transcripts, High School GPA of 2.50, Test scores: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL(ITP), 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), 80 on the MELAB, 6.5 on the IELTS Academic exam, 54 on the PTE, Financial Acceptance.

Chemists research materials like plastics, fabrics and medicines, and biochemists research disease. A chemistry degree paves the way to careers in agriculture, environmental or food chemistry, engineering and research. A biochemistry degree lays the foundation for forensic and environmental science, medical, dental and pharmacology fields.

The biology major is designed for students with broad interests in the biological sciences. It is intended primarily to prepare undergraduates for graduate studies in diverse areas of biology; prepare certain preprofessional students (e.g., medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry) for advanced study in the health professions; provide a broad exposure to biology for students who want a general science education as biologists; and serve as initial preparation for students who later choose a more specialized major.

There are any number of careers open to a person with a degree in biology. Many of today's doctors, dentists, marine and wildlife biologists, college professors, environmental consultants and biomedical researchers began their education with this degree. The program opens the door to a wide variety of medical professions and biological careers from cell to field biology.
